What we collect, and what we do with it.
Veritate.ai is a two-person web and local marketing service based in Apex, North Carolina. This page says, in plain words, what happens to information you give us or that the site records while you visit.
When you send an audit request
The form asks for a business name, a website or Google Maps link, your email address, what you are after, and an optional note. Sending it does the following:
- An email with your answers goes to hello@veritate.ai, and a confirmation goes to the address you gave.
- The request may also trigger a short text message to our own phone so we see it quickly. Your details are in that message; nobody else receives it.
- We record the request, the business and our audit notes in an internal tool that runs on our own computer, not on a shared platform.
We use this only to prepare and send your audit and to follow up on it. There is no mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your details. If you do not become a client, we delete the request and our notes within twelve months, or sooner if you ask.
When you call, text or use WhatsApp
Messages and calls go to our business phone. The number you use and what you write stay in that app's history on our devices. WhatsApp messages are also handled by Meta under its own terms.
When you just visit
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and to see which buttons are used (for example, the call, text or WhatsApp links and the audit form). It sets cookies and records an anonymised identifier, approximate location, device and pages viewed. We do not tie this to your name. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy. Analytics loads only after you interact with the page or a few seconds after it settles.
The site itself is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short period for security and operations.
Who touches the data
- Hostinger hosts our email (hello@veritate.ai).
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the form.
- Google provides Analytics and the Business Profile and PageSpeed data we use during an audit.
- Twilio may deliver the text-message alert to our phone.
Each of them processes data only to provide that service to us.
During an audit
An audit looks only at public pages: your Google listing, your website and the path a customer takes to reach you. We do not log in to anything, and we do not collect information about your customers. Screenshots and notes stay in your audit folder and are shared with nobody but you.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted: email hello@veritate.ai. We answer within one business day and act within seven.
- Block or clear Analytics cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them.
- Reply "no" to any email from us and you will not hear from us again.
Children
The site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
